Terms of Service

Version: 6 August 2026 · These terms apply to watchon.live and to all venue- and creator-branded pages run on the WatchON platform (for example venue pages on pattayaon.com). Venue pages may carry an additional venue appendix, linked in the footer of the venue's own pages; where they do, both documents apply.

1. The service

WatchON ("the Platform", "we") lets viewers of live streams buy credits and spend them on visual and audio effects, shout-outs and similar digital items that appear on a streamer's broadcast. The Platform provides technology only. Streamers, venues and creators ("Creators") are independent of the Platform and are responsible for their own broadcasts, conduct and legal compliance.

2. Credits

• Credits are a prepaid licence to use digital entertainment features on the Platform. They are not money, electronic money, deposits, securities or investments.
• Credits have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are non-transferable between accounts.
• Pricing is referenced in US dollars for convenience (1 credit ≈ USD 1 at purchase time). This is a pricing reference only and is not a promise of value.
• We may grant bonus, gift or promotional credits at our discretion; these can carry additional conditions and may be revoked if obtained or used fraudulently.
• We may void balances obtained through fraud, abuse of promotions, chargebacks or breach of these terms.

3. Payments

• Cryptocurrency purchases are final once confirmed on-chain. You are responsible for sending the correct asset, on the correct network, to the address shown. Network fees, exchange-rate movements and wallet mistakes are outside our control.
• Where card payments are offered on a venue page, the seller (merchant of record) is the venue or entity named at checkout and on your receipt — not the Platform. That seller's own refund policy and contact details apply to the card transaction, alongside these terms for use of the credits.
• Purchases of effects are voluntary entertainment spending. They are not donations to charity, not wagers, and not payment for any service outside the Platform.

4. No gambling, no investment

Effects and credits are for entertainment. Nothing on the Platform offers a chance-based prize, a return on money spent, an income, or a tradable asset. Loyalty points or badges, where offered, are free status features with no monetary value.

5. Age

The Platform is for adults: 18 or older. Individual venue pages may require a higher age where local law does (for example alcohol-related venues). If you are not old enough, do not use the Platform.

6. Your conduct and content

• No harassment, hate, threats, or unlawful content — in names, messages, effects or uploads.
• Custom effects and uploaded media are reviewed before publication and may be rejected or removed without notice.
• You must hold the rights to anything you upload, and every recognisable person appearing in it must have consented. You grant the Platform a licence to display uploaded material as part of the service.
• Do not attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer or disrupt the Platform, other viewers' balances, or a broadcast.

7. Creators and venues

• Creator earnings follow the revenue split shown in the Creator's dashboard. Payouts are made in supported cryptocurrencies to the wallet the Creator designates; on-chain transfers are final.
• Creators are responsible for their own taxes, local licensing and legal compliance, and for the conduct of their broadcasts.
• We may withhold or reverse earnings connected to fraud, refunded purchases or breach of these terms, and may suspend streams that break the rules.

8. Refunds

Card purchases: credits and digital effects are delivered instantly. By completing a purchase you request immediate delivery and acknowledge that, once the digital content has been delivered, the 14-day withdrawal right under EU consumer law no longer applies. If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or paid for credits or an effect that was never delivered, contact us and we will refund the affected amount to your original payment method. Unspent credits from a card purchase can be refunded on request within 14 days of purchase.

Crypto purchases: crypto transactions settle irreversibly on-chain and are non-refundable except where mandatory law provides otherwise. If a technical error affects your balance, contact us and we will correct the ledger.

9. Privacy

See the privacy notice for what we store (guest identifiers, credit ledger entries, crypto transaction references, moderation data) and how it is used.

10. Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is". Live streams, effects and third-party services (video platforms, blockchains, payment providers) can fail or change outside our control. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the version date above changes when we do, and continued use means acceptance. We may suspend or close access that breaches these terms. If the Platform is discontinued, we will give reasonable notice on the site.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Danish law, unless mandatory consumer law in your country applies instead. Contact us any time via the contact form — leave a way to reach you and we reply directly.
