If you have already tried to set up tips on a crypto stream, you know the pattern: everything works until the payout step, and then it does not.
Why the big platforms reject you
Streamlabs and StreamElements are not being difficult. They are card-processor businesses. Stripe and PayPal publish restricted-business lists, and crypto services sit on them alongside gambling and adult content. A platform that ignored those lists would lose its own processor.
So the rejection is not personal, and appealing it does not work. The category is the problem.
The honest comparison
Streamlabs / StreamElements — best overlays and alerts in the business, huge free tier, works flawlessly. Card-based tipping only. Perfect if your content is mainstream.
Ko-fi / Buy Me a Coffee — low fees, simple, well-designed. Same processor constraint. Also worth noting: neither ships a mobile app, because a 30% app-store cut is arithmetically impossible on a 0% platform fee.
Direct wallet address in your description — free, unblockable, and invisible. Nobody watching your stream sees that someone tipped, so nobody is inspired to be next. This is the option most crypto streamers end up on, and it is why their tips are lower than they should be.
Rumble — ships Bitcoin tipping natively. If you already stream there, use it. It is first-party and well integrated.

What we cannot do
Being straight about this saves us both time:
- We are new. If you want a platform with a decade of uptime behind it, we are not that yet.
- Payouts are manual right now. We send your share to your wallet by hand. Automated on-chain splits are coming, but they are not here.
- There is no app. Apple's rules forbid unlocking in-app features with crypto — guideline 3.1.1 names it explicitly. A native app would have to abandon the crypto model, so we ship a website instead.
- Your viewers need a wallet. We cannot make that go away. Nobody can.
What we do that the others do not
The effect appears on your stream, not just in a notification you might miss. Viewers see what other viewers did, and that is what makes the next person send something.
And there is no approval process. No underwriting, no "we regret to inform you". You paste a link into OBS and it works.
Which one should you pick?
If Stripe will serve you, use Streamlabs. It is genuinely better software than anything a small team can ship, and cards convert better than crypto.
If Stripe will not serve you — because you are crypto-native, or in a category they reject — then your real choice is between an invisible wallet address and something that puts the moment on screen.
